Consumer Price Surveys

Soe - Consumer Price Survey (SHK) is a survey carried out regularly, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly, to capture price movements of goods/services commonly consumed by the public. The results of the SHK are used as a basis for calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Changes in the CPI over time describe the rate of increase (inflation) or rate of decline (defation) of goods/services for daily household needs. This month, SHK takes place from the 4th to the 26th.
